‘Eat, think and be merry’ is a blog about three of life’s pleasures, food, drink and thought –  specifically thought sparked off by repletion, hunger or just plain greed.

I’m a vegetarian, so my recipes here are too. However – and this isn’t an apology (hell no!) – I hope they will also appeal to the rabidly carnivorous.

At the moment I mooch around in North London, though I used to live in the depths of the country. So the Big Smoke also plays its part in my blog.

Its cafes, bars, restaurants, homes and green spaces. Everywhere that people eat, drink, think and make the most of life, knowing that tomorrow we die.

Or diet, at any rate.

Yum. I’ll definitely be checking back. (Having a spot of CHEAP spiked eggnog and gingerbread cookies at the moment). Thanks for stopping by Writers’ New Depression Cookbook. Appreciate the encouragement. Susan.

Although not a vegetarian, I’ll definitely have to try out a few of these recipes. I have a couple of vegetarian friends, so I’m sure they’ll be interested in these as well.

Thanks for the visit and the comment on my blog earlier. Much appreciated.

I’ve so enjoyed your blog. I’ve only been reading for a month or so..and have already made two of your recipes. Keep them coming…along with your wit.
